ABOUT HUNT Owner Denton Hunt knew he wanted to be his own boss and build his own business from the ground up since the very beginning. He worked for years as a machinist, with construction as a side gig, and decided one day that he was going to build his own house. Though the process of learning to build a house alone could seem daunting, it fueled Hunt even more to follow his dreams. His years of working construction on the side paid off with the end result being a beautiful home in Middle Tennessee. Hunt began his business humbly, with just a bulldozer and backhoe during the day, still working as a machinist at night. After five years, he called it quits on his day job and went full-time as a general contractor with Hunt Construction.
