In its early years, ECC provided environmental services, including emergency response and hazardous waste treatment removal, and transportation and disposal services. 1987 ECC increases capabilities and experience with the award and successful completion of a large subcontract to handle hazardous waste transportation logistics on a US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) Superfund Site on the Hoopa Indian Reservation, providing ECC vital experience on a US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) project. 1989 ECC becomes an approved USEPA response manager and a member of the US Small Business Administration’s (SBA) 8(a) and Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) programs, facilitating continued opportunities and growth.
