History Rahn Excavating & Grading started in 1974 when Miles and Cele Rahn donated a parcel of their farmland for their son, Denny, to start his own excavating business. Miles was an active part of the company well into his 80s, and Denny remains at the helm to this day. The company began with a 977K CAT Loader, a 350 John Deer Dozer, and a 3960 International Excavator, focusing primarily on improvement projects for local farmers. Today, Rahn Excavating & Grading services a variety of industries, including commercial, municipal and residential development, leveraging state-of-the-art, GPS-controlled equipment. About Us Jerry Hepp Excavating Inc. has been in business for over 35 years. Over the years, Jerry Hepp Excavating Inc. has grown to include 11 employees, 13 trucks and 18 pieces of equipment. Jerry also owns two other businesses in Watertown: Hepp's Warehousing, LLC which has been in business for 30 years, and Hepp Properties, LLC for over 11 years. He is the developer of 56 lots in Hepp Heights subdivision located on the southwest side of Watertown. Jerry and his wife, Linda, were married in 1979. They have two children, Ryan and Casey, who also live in Watertown. Linda is the secretary/treasurer at the home office. Ryan is co-owner in the family business and has been heavily involved in the day-to-day operations since graduating from Watertown High School in 2001. Ryan married Mallory Crawford on September 19, 2015 and have three children together. Casey is currently an elementary teacher at Lincoln Elementary School here in Watertown. Casey married Travis Riggs in June of 2016 and have two children together. Jerry and Linda are the proud grandparents to five little ones-Colby Hepp, Myles Krueger, Levi Hepp, Elowyn Riggs and Keaton Hepp.

Our Journey Founded in 1955, W&D Navis provides a wide variety of services for commercial, industrial and residential customers. Three generations ago, Wes Navis began trucking sand and gravel to local farmers. In 1977, at 17, Dennis bought his first bulldozer and began to diversify the company into earthwork, sewer & water and demolition services. In 2001 we continued to grow by adding the natural stone division that now operates several quarries around Wisconsin. Our main office and shop is located in Waupun which serves as a central location for working across all of Wisconsin. Our 3rd generation family run business now employs over 40 people throughout the excavating, trucking and natural stone areas.
