About Abatement Pro Abatement Pro was founded by Mike Coffey in 2008. After working 15 years in the industry starting as a laborer, learning the trade, learning to lead crews, and then learning to bid/estimate, Mike took the next step and struck out on his own. It wasn’t long after Abatement Pro started up that people noticed the big red trucks and everyone in the industry took note of Mike’s creative approach to securing work and willingness to do the complicated and challenging projects. Between 2008 and 2022, Abatement Pro performed several iconic projects in Idaho and became a pillar in the Idaho abatement and demolition market. In 2022, Mike took another step forward when he negotiated a deal to merge Abatement Pro, Inc. with Pacific Technologies, Inc. (PTI), which had been a long-time competitor in the Idaho market. The merger enabled Abatement Pro to leverage PTI’s additional resources to perform larger projects and gave Mike the operational freedom to focus on clients and projects. Since the merger Abatement Pro has continued to offer world-class services in the Idaho market.
